1Is Pawse able to be used on all dogs
Pawse was designed for well-behaved dogs that are comfortable to be off-leash. It is not intended for an untrained puppy or a dog that continually pulls on a leash.
2What does Pawse come with?
Pawse comes with the Pawse retractor with a soft handle attached and a metal clip to attach to your existing collar.
3Once I attach it to my collar can I take it off again?
Yes, the clip design allows you to unclip Pawse from your collar although it is very securely attached. We want to make sure Pawse stays securely attached to your collar so make sure to read and follow the supplied directions to properly take it off.
4What size collars will Pawse fit?
Pawse was designed to fits collars up to 1 1/2 inches wide and 3/16th thick.
5Will Pawse fit my dog?
Pawse is currently sized to fit large dogs (50-100lbs) to medium (30-50lb). Pawse will fit smaller dogs but we plan to have a stretch goal for a smaller size in the future so please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates on new size availability.
6Is Pawse strong enough to hold my dog?
Yes, as long as you follow the guidelines for the maximum recommended weight for the collar sizes. Pawse is engineered for well-behaved dogs who are good on and off-leash.
7What is the handle made of?
Extra strong and durable, waterproof nylon web loop with a soft comfortable feel.
8What is the cable made of?
Super strong coated steel braided cables with over 100lbs breaking strength.
9Is the length of the leash adjustable?
No it is not. Pawse is a quick short leash that is long enough to walk your dog along side of you. For longer planned walks we encourage you to use a standard leash.
